CenterDirectorRanette Williams Haynes, Center Director

Ranette is the Center Director at Mathnasium of Clermont. She grew up in Central Florida's Winter Park Community.  After graduating, Ranette attended Valencia Community College and NOVA Southeastern University, where she received a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education.  Prior to Mathnasium, she loved being a Private Tutor and an Elementary School Educator in Central Florida, for more than 15 years.  During that time, Ranette also became ESOL (English Speakers of other Languages) endorsed and taught Adult Education ESOL Classes.

There's always been a passion within Ranette, when it comes to working with youth, teaching, and education. While exploring career moves in the field of education, she learned of Mathnasium and discovered this was her calling. She loves math, and is committed to bringing the Mathnasium Method to the children in her community.  Knowing that many students experience great difficulty in math, Ranette desires to help all students further develop their skills and enjoy learning math through positive experiences, with a sense of empowerment and success. After all, every student should have a chance to learn math in a way that makes SENSE!

In her free time, Ranette enjoys spending quality time with her husband, children, and loved ones.  She also finds satisfaction in volunteering at her church, traveling, shopping, reading books, going to the movies, and playing with her dog.

CenterDirectorNola Williams, Administrative Assistant

 Nola is the Administrative Assistant at Mathnasium of Clermont.  She is a Retiree, who was a dedicated Public Servant to the citizens of the State of Florida for 30 plus years.  During her service, she worked for The Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services and later moved to a different division, The Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. Since retiring, Nola has also worked for The Hemophilia Foundation of Greater Florida, a Non-Profit Organization.

Nola's inspiration to work at Mathnasium is attributed to her daughter Ranette's passion for Mathnasium and what it represents.

When Nola has free time she enjoys reading, listening to music, encouraging and serving people, and volunteering to serve in different ministries at her church, The River of Life Christian Center.  She also looks forward to spending time with her grandchildren, as well as family and friends, watching movies, and shopping.  Nola states, "It is a blessing to enjoy life".


Aisha Wooden, Assistant Center Director

Aisha is excited to bring her customer service and hospitality management experience to Mathnasium. She is responsible for billing, advertising and other operational aspects of Mathnasium.  In her spare time, Aisha enjoys taking vacations with friends and family. She also likes visiting local restaurants in Orlando and while traveling. Her dream is to own and operate a small family farm and animal sanctuary.


  Jonathan Garcia, Assistant Center Director

Jonathan is currently pursuing his bachelor's degree in Business Supervision at Polk State
College. Returning to school after a large absence is not something easy to achieve, but he is
proud of his accomplishments and dedication to study. He served with the US Navy, where he
studied all types of weather phenomenon. After he found his love of theater, he decided to
expand on it and accepted a professional performance role. He started working with children as a
STEM Edutainer with Legoland Florida motivating students with robotics and Legos. He is
excited to continue his journey of life with Mathnasium and looks forward to motivating the
minds of tomorrow.

  Dharshanie Bhim, Assistant Center Director

Dharshanie, also known as Kelly, is a student at UCF pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance and hopes to obtain an MBA as well. Dharshanie loves teaching at Mathnasium because she believes that understanding math is the future of many job fields and helping students become more confident in their ability to do math gives her a sense of pride and joy. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling. Her favorite math joke is, "Why is 6 afraid of 7? Because 7 8 9! But why did 7 eat 9? Because you're supposed to eat 3 squared meals a day."


 Fionnula Mendoza, Instructor

Fionnula Mendoza is a junior at Lake Minneola High School. In addition to this, she is currently working on her A.S. degree at Lake Sumter State College. She has always had a love for mathematics, and hopes to help students find a love for mathematics too. Outside of school and work, Fionnula enjoys hiking, aerial silks, and volunteering. She also enjoys being around children, and is very grateful to be able to work with students and watch them learn.


 Ethan Loden, Instructor

Ethan is currently a student at East Ridge High School taking advanced math classes at Lake Sumter State College. He has grown up enjoying math thanks to his teachers, and wishes to pass on this enjoyment to other students. He is a part of the Health Science Collegiate Academy hoping to enter the STEM field once he graduates high school with his Associates Degree. He is also interested in obtaining a business degree because it can allow him to start his own business that would help others. Outside of school, he enjoys playing soccer for the high school and his club team. As a rising junior, Ethan was a part of the soccer team at East Ridge that played in the regional final, making it farther than any other team in school history. Ethan also enjoys traveling and hopes to one day travel around the world and immerse himself in various cultures around the globe.


   Bryant Landean, Lead Instructor

Bryant is a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the  U. S. Marine Corps and graduated from the University of Maine
with a degree in Mathematics, minors in U. S. History and Psychology. He holds advanced education in
logistics, transportation, and civil affairs.  During one of his military tours in Japan he taught tactical and
operational military operations for American Military University (AMU).  Bryant was responsible for and
in charge of over 130 instructors at the Marine Corps Motor Transport School, and directly involved in
related Research and Development projects. He has also tutored math periodically since college.  After
retiring from military service, Bryant has been a production and operations supervisor, and promoted to
manufacturing plant manager for a global lawn and garden company. He loves staying in shape by participating in various sports. Bryant and his wife, a retired U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter pilot, enjoy numerous recreational outdoor activities and traveling.


Iraisa Matos, Lead Instructor

Iraisa, who also goes by Eerie, is a senior attending East Ridge High School. . She is passionate about expressing herself creatively whether it be through music, art, or even her hair! One of her favortie pastimes is biking on the Orange Blossom Trail with her friends and being surrounded by nature and wildlife.  Eerie will be the first to tell you that understanding math isn't about memorizing the facts alone. It's not just about knowing   6 x 4 = 24. It's about knowing how to get to 24 efficiently if you forget. The same applies to various other math skills. She loves to see students develop their understanding in this way, and being able to support their growth with the Mathnasium team is an incredible gift to her.


    Kai Ford, Instructor

Kai is a current student at East Ridge High School, fulfilling the role of senior class treasurer in student government. He is also a member of National Honors Society and National English Honors Society. Kai cherishes the positive experiences he has had with great math instructors in the past, and hopes to serve as a conduit of their success as a math tutor. In his free time, Kai enjoys playing piano and singing, serving as the choir president of East Ridge High School for the 2021-2022 school year. After high school, Kai hopes to attend the University of Florida to pursue a STEM major and continue to create music.


Madelyn Moore, Instructor

Madelyn is currently a sophomore at High Point University in High Point, North Carolina. She is majoring in Elementary Education in order to live out her dream of becoming a teacher. In Madelyn's free time, she loves to go to the beach, hang out with friends, and travel to new places. Madelyn has always had a special love for math. She has been positively influenced by the many math teachers she has encountered throughout school, and hopes to make the same positive influence on her students at Mathnasium. She is excited to be a part of the Clermont Mathnasium team!


Jane Chapman, Instructor

 Jane is a student at Lake Minneola High School and is enrolled in the Health Science Collegiate Academy which allows her to pursue her Associate's Degree at Lake Sumter State College while she is still in high school. Jane has always loved math and hopes to show the students at Mathnasium how just how fun math can be. Jane spends most of her free time working with her school's theatre, student government, and debate programs, and managing her film production company, Bright Melon Productions, which she co-founded in her Sophomore year. Jane is thrilled to be a member of the Mathnasium team and can't wait to share her passion for math with all of the amazing students.


 Shreena Patel, Instructor

Shreena is a recent graduate of the University of Central Florida with a B.S. in Health Sciences, Pre-Clinical Track. She is currently in the process of applying to dental schools that she hopes to attend starting next year. During her gap year, Shreena has enjoyed spending more time with her family and close friends while also shadowing dentists and volunteering at a non-profit clinic. She also spends her free time embroidering for her loved ones. As a previous reading fluency tutor for elementary school students, Shreena hopes to continue sharing her passion for learning with others.


Joey McAuley, Volunteer Instructor

Joseph (Joey), is going into his freshman year at Lake Minneola High School. He has always had a love for math and wants to have a future career in teaching. Joey enjoys tutoring close friends and, with Mathnasium, he now gets to do so at a professional level. He understands that math can be challenging and hard to grasp at certain levels but he enjoys helping others to better understand and overcome those obstacles. During his time off he enjoys cooking, hanging out with friends, and doing puzzles.
